The company's founder, Alan Baird, is an Irish linguist, with a Master of Arts in European Languages and Literature from the University of Oxford, England. He has studied German, Portuguese, Italian, French and Russian at degree level at both the University of Durham and the University of Oxford. He is a certified translator (Institute of Linguists) and has 33 years' experience of the translation industry.
